There is something about hearing about tragedy close to home that makes me stop and become even more thankful for all the small trips to work and back home to work safely. We can become lost in the routine of life and begin to take so much for granted. I’m glad to make it back to this little space of home on the web to share with you a few favorite finds.
When’s the last time you celebrate who you have become? Lauren does such a wonderful job of looking at the girl she once was and comparing that girl to the woman she has become in Here’s to You.
Over at Jolly Moments they share should some good practical tips to Live With Purpose On Purpose. It’s stuff we know but we lose sight of at times.
How would you define the word? Ashlee does such a wonderful job of depicting hope in Marked by Hope. Here are a few lines that I especially liked from her post.
But hope is more than wishful thinking.
Hope is more than covering up the pain.
Hope is more than hurried remarks about how things will turn out alright.
Hope is more than putting a patch over the not-yets and wish-they-weres. – Ashlee of Beyond Undone
As you cross the paths of others have you notice the signs they hold? Kristen, a member of the Women Walking with Jesus team, writes a poignant piece titled Where to Get Everything You Need.

Hi Wanda! Thank you again for your picks, and you know I’ll be visiting!
We all need to include gratitude in our lives, especially in this uncertain world. So much prayer is needed, don’t you think?
I hope you are doing well, and not too crazy busy with your new adventures.
Blessings!
Ceil
Hi Ceil, indeed gratitude and prayer should be a part of daily lives. Hope you have enjoyed your time away. Been away at a conference for work the last few days so it’s good to get back home.

Tragedies have a way of putting our lives into perspective, don’t they? Thank you for sharing these encouraging links!
Yes they do Barbie. Certainly help focus my eyes in the right direction.
Wanda, I cannot tell you how timely this is. I have lost two very close family members within the last four weeks, and but for God’s grace and supernatural power, I would have probably lost my mind.
So sorry to hear about your recent lost LaVonne. My condolences to you. Yes, but God! He holds us together.
Love the Friday Five – even when it’s Tuesday!! Thanks for faithfully providing this place to link-up and be inspired!!
